 R. Lynn King-Tolliver is the Founder and Managing Partner of Archere Investment Management and Managing Partner of Archere Apartment Communities. Her career spans more than 25 years of institutional real estate investment management, entrepreneurial investing, advisory work, and operating partnerships.

During her career, Ms. King-Tolliver has completed more than $5 billion of real estate transactions and acquired more than 25 million square feet across multiple property types and markets. Her experience includes acquisitions, portfolio strategy, investment management, joint ventures, capital structuring, recapitalizations, asset management, and investment committee governance. 

Prior to founding Archere, she held senior investment positions with leading institutional real estate firms including Heitman and MetLife Investment Management. Her career combines the perspective of an institutional capital allocator with nearly a decade of investing, advising, and partnering alongside entrepreneurial operating sponsors across market-rate, workforce, affordable, mixed-income, and development strategies. 

Through AIM, she brings institutional investment discipline together with entrepreneurial execution to pursue workforce and mixed-income housing investments, form aligned strategic partnerships, and provide select GP advisory services.

Ms. King-Tolliver is a frequent speaker, moderator, and industry thought leader whose perspective is regularly sought on institutional real estate investment management, housing, capital markets, joint ventures, and scalable investment platforms. She speaks at national and regional industry conferences and participates regularly in discussions on investment strategy, capital allocation, housing, and market conditions.

She currently serves as President of African American Real Estate Professionals Los Angeles, a Global Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, and a member of the Board of Mercy Housing California. Her leadership reflects a longstanding commitment to strengthening the real estate investment community and expanding opportunity across the industry.

 Ms. King-Tolliver earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from California State University, Fullerton, and completed executive education through the Women’s Consortium at Smith College. She is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
